Graphic Design
As a graphic design emphasis you will study and practice the art of design. The creativity of graphic designers can be seen everywhere you look, from web design, magazines, and television to digital advertisements and innovative product packaging. But graphic design is more than just appearances—it’s an understanding for how to communicate conceptually, how to make everything from typography, colors, illustration, and photography work together as a whole.
Your education, at Waldorf College, will focus on preparing you to rise to the challenges as a creative problem solver.
Each week, students in the journalism emphasis meet to come up with story ideas, design layouts and work with student editors on a quarterly magazine (Torch).
